Emergency & downtime
A hydraulic power pack that has stopped building pressure — or that keeps failing after every repair — can quietly swallow days of production. Time disappears into diagnosis, dismantling, hunting for parts that may be obsolete, and re-machining worn components, with no certainty the fault won't return. When your line is down, the question is not "can it be repaired?" but "what gets the machine running most reliably?" Where it makes sense, a new, fully tested replacement HPU — sized to your existing unit and shipped with a test certificate and warranty — removes much of that uncertainty.
An honest comparison
Repair is sometimes the right call — a single failed seal or valve on an otherwise sound unit is worth fixing. But when a power pack is ageing or has failed repeatedly, the arithmetic changes. Here is an honest look at both paths, without exaggeration.
| Consideration | Repair the old HPU | New replacement HPU |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnosis | Fault must be traced first — sometimes the real cause is only found after dismantling. | Built to a known, confirmed specification — no fault-finding on your floor. |
| Dismantling | Unit must be stripped down, often with the machine already stopped. | Fitted as a complete, ready-to-run unit; old pack removed in one step. |
| Component availability | Pump, valves or seals may be obsolete or on long lead times. | Current, available components selected for the new build. |
| Machining / rework | Worn bores and surfaces may need re-machining, with variable results. | New parts assembled to specification — no rework of worn metal. |
| Repeated failures | A repaired ageing unit can fail again, restarting the whole cycle. | A new unit resets the reliability clock across the whole power pack. |
| Documentation | Often little or no record of what was changed or to what setting. | Known specification, test certificate and warranty supplied. |
| Restoration of production | Downtime is uncertain — it depends on what's found and what parts arrive. | Faster restoration where stock or production capacity allows, against a defined build. |
We do not promise a fixed delivery time sight-unseen. Realistic timing is confirmed once we see your requirement and current workload.
Is it time?
Repair keeps its value on a young, well-documented unit with a single clear fault. The balance tips toward replacement when the signs below start to stack up.
The process
A straightforward path from a stopped machine to a new, tested power pack — handled by our engineers, mostly by email.
Send us your existing HPU details
The fastest way to a matched replacement is to send us what you already have. Email the following to sales@suyoghydrosystems.com and our engineers will review your unit and respond with a suggested specification and quote:
Questions engineers ask us
In most cases, yes. Share your existing HPU nameplate, a photo of the unit and — if you have it — the hydraulic circuit or old quote. From the pressure, flow, motor rating, tank size and mounting details we size a new unit that matches the duty of the original, even where the exact old brand or model is obsolete. Where the original specification is unclear, our engineers work from the machine's requirement rather than copying an unknown.
The most useful items are a clear photo of the motor and pump nameplates, a photo of the complete existing power pack, the working pressure and flow (or the machine's clamping/actuation requirement), the tank capacity, and the hydraulic circuit or old quote if available. The more of these you can send, the faster and more accurately we can size and quote the replacement. Missing details can be confirmed by our engineers during review.
Yes. Every replacement HPU is assembled and run on our own bench, with hydraulic testing capability up to 350 bar and 200 LPM, before it leaves the factory. Pressure and relief settings, flow, functional operation and leakage are checked, and the unit is dispatched with a pre-dispatch test certificate and warranty.
Yes. We manufacture in Talwade, Pune, and dispatch replacement power packs pan-India. Sizing, quoting and engineering review are handled remotely by email, so you can send your existing HPU details from anywhere and receive a matched, tested unit for installation by your own team or maintenance contractor.
Get back into production
Send your existing HPU nameplate and photos, or configure a replacement online — our engineers will size a matching unit, test it to 350 bar / 200 LPM, and dispatch it with a test certificate and warranty.
